About us
We are a professional designer and manufacturer of Chinese parasols. Our factory was established in 1993, with 10,000 square meters as the production area, annual productivity over 600,000 pcs of parasols.
We have invited five sixty-years-old artists with a big sum of money to work as our technical consultants. Besides, we also employed three senior art designers and six intermediate artists. And there are 200 experienced craftsmen working in our factory.
We inherit the traditional craftsmanship, pay much attention on selecting superior materials, and use the natural scenery as the paintings on the canopy of the parasols. So far we have invented more than 10 varieties of Chinese parasols, over 70 models.
According to different requirements of our customers, we can customize advertising parasols, promotional parasols, wedding parasols, props parasols and other special parasols.
In 2000, we took advantage of the local rich natural resources and extended our business to hand fans. Now we can make wooden fans, bamboo fans, paper fans, silk fans, lace fans, etc.

Parasols’ history
Parasols/umbrellas originated in China, around the Warring States period. They were originally made of wood by a very famous craftsman named Luban. At that time, considering of that it was not convenient to produce or carry, Yuns, Luban’s wife, mended the procedure. With the invention of papermaking, the oiled paper parasols were generated. As it’s lightweight, durable and easy to be carried, the oiled paper parasols soon spread out.
Now, hardworking and clever Chinese people have invented different varieties of parasols. And they are not only used for rain proof, but also used for sunshine proof, decoration, performance, wedding and souvenirs. Even more and more foreign friends love Chinese parasols.
The process of making a Chinese parasol
One Chinese parasol looks plain, light, and simple, but it’s not an easy job to make a top-grade parasol. Firstly we must choose superior materials, like bamboos, paper, tung oil, silk, etc. The most important material is the bamboo, because the parasol skeleton is made of bamboo. The bamboo originates directly from the nature, elegant and environment-friendly. It must be of very good quality and flexibility, and not easy to break off. The only shortage of the bamboo is that it is easy to be destroyed by insects, and gets moldy and spoiled after that. In order to avoid insects, the bamboo skeleton of the parasol has to strictly experience and undergo high-temperature steam boiling, the sunshine exposure and the roasting before we use it.
After that, we can install the key, mount the paper, draw the flower, and oil the surface, pass the thread, knot the top, etc. nearly thirty procedures in total to make a whole parasol.
The craftsman carefully outlines lifelike flowers and birds, traditional Chinese painting of beautiful girls, beautiful nature scenery on the canopy. So that the parasol not only becomes elegant and practical daily necessities, but also becomes an art of works, which owns the appreciation value. Because of that, the Chinese parasols are very popular with ladies all over the world.
